About Amanda
Amanda Davis is a Coaching Initiative Lead and franchisee at The Dog Wizard, with more than 20 years of professional experience in obedience training, behavior modification, and off-leash reliability. An honors graduate of Animal Behavior College and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, she has helped hundreds of dogs and their owners achieve lasting results through practical, real-world training. Amanda joined The Dog Wizard in 2020, helped launch the Ashland, Kentucky location, and now owns and operates both the Ashland and Lexington franchises.
Beyond working directly with clients and dogs, Amanda coaches The Dog Wizard business owners across the country, helping them sharpen training outcomes, elevate the client experience, develop their teams, and grow their businesses. That combination of field experience and mentorship shapes everything she writes: content grounded in what genuinely works, built for dog owners who want real results rather than generic advice.
Education & Background
Amanda is an honors graduate of Animal Behavior College (2006) and holds the Animal Behavior College Certified Dog Trainer (ABCDT) designation. She is also a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and an active member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP).
