With his experience at Dogtopia, a leading dog daycare, Ziggy honed his skills in dog behavior and socialization, fostering positive relationships between dogs and creating healthy social environments.

Previously, he worked at Sunbury Vet Clinic as both a Veterinary Technician and a Surgical Technician, where he developed a deep understanding of canine health and wellness. This unique blend of training and veterinary knowledge allows Ziggy to address behavioral issues with a holistic approach, ensuring each dog receives the best care possible.

Dedicated to enhancing the bond between dogs and their humans, Ziggy employs innovative training techniques tailored to individual needs. His goal is to empower dog owners with the tools and confidence to nurture happy, well-adjusted pets.

Terry Kenney is the co-owner, alongside his wife Liberty, and an advanced trainer at The Dog Wizard. With over two decades of experience directing and managing large retail operations at Target Corporation, Terry brings a wealth of leadership and operational expertise to his new venture. Fueled by a lifelong passion for dogs, he is dedicated to helping owners achieve their training goals through innovative methods at The Dog Wizard. As a proud father of two children and two German Shorthair Pointers, Terry understands the unique joys and challenges of training and raising dogs alongside children.

As a business owner, Terry focuses on fostering a positive and collaborative environment for both clients and staff. He believes in continuous learning and improvement, encouraging his team to stay updated on the latest training techniques and trends in canine behavior. Rebekah Hefner grew up around horses, where she developed strong handling, observation, and communication skills that translate directly to working with dogs. She spent time at a horse trail riding facility, teaching new riders daily how to safely manage large animals, building a solid foundation in timing, consistency, and understanding animal behavior. These skills naturally carried over into dog training.

Rebekah worked at Chasing Life Dog Training, where she focused on puppy training and behavior modification. During this time, she gained extensive experience working with reactive dogs, learned how breed tendencies impact behavior, and discovered the importance of tailoring training to each dog’s individual personality and needs.

Her terrier mix, Autumn, sparked a deeper passion for dog training. Autumn had an intense prey drive, was not food- or toy-motivated, and was full of energy. Rebekah worked consistently with her to build motivation for both toys and food, developing reliable recall and the ability to call her off prey. This hands-on experience strengthened Rebekah’s commitment to helping dogs overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

She continues to grow professionally through ongoing education and advanced training opportunities with The Dog Wizard. Rebekah is dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build confidence, consistency, and long-term success. She finds it incredibly rewarding to watch dogs and their owners strengthen communication, overcome challenges together, and build a lasting bond through training.
