CHARLESTON, S.C., (May 21, 2021) – Owners of The Dog Wizard Nashville and The Dog Wizard Chattanooga have joined forces to bring their best-in-class dog training services to residents of the Charleston, S.C. area. The Dog Wizard Charleston opened two months ago for mobile dog training, in addition to offering board & train thanks to a partnership with a local doggie daycare.
Connected through The Dog Wizard Founder Gretchen Hollifield, Nashville franchise owner Kendall Wright and Chattanooga franchise owner John Hayes decided to form a powerhouse team and expand into Charleston. Considering the distance between their operations, they have enlisted the services of a local trainer, trained through The Dog Wizard Academy, to conduct trainings and oversee day-to-day operations while they manage the business remotely. Wright and Hayes are alternating visits to Charleston, and plan to do so for the foreseeable future until the team grows along with the business.

Wright has owned The Dog Wizard Nashville for nearly 10 years, which operates on a mostly-mobile basis with trainings held at homes or parks. Much like the new Charleston location, he also has a mutually-beneficial partnership with a local doggie daycare to offer board & train service. Hayes and wife Lauren have owned The Dog Wizard Chattanooga since February 2020, but have been training professionally for over 5 years, offering puppy classes, group classes, board & train, private lessons and lifetime support.
