The Dog Wizard™ Fayetteville Reopens to Continue Transformative Dog Training Service Following Brief Closure
– Corporate Location of National Franchise Back to ‘Business as Usual’ –

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C., November 9, 2020 – The Dog Wizardhas announced the reopening of its corporate location in Fayetteville, N.C. following a 4-month closure during the peak of the
COVID-19 pandemic. The reopening is another success story for The Dog Wizard franchise, which has experienced several recent franchise openings – including The Dog Wizard Cincinnati, The Dog Wizard Sarasota and The Dog Wizard Twin Cities – and perseverance through the pandemic.

“We’re pleased to see our Fayetteville corporate location back up and running, and thriving as it was pre-pandemic,” said CEO Gretchen Hollifield. “While respectfully adhering to local
pandemic safety protocols, it became apparent we needed to temporarily suspend operations for the safety of our trainers, staff and pet owners. We’re excited to get back to work, transforming
pets and improving relationships with their owners.”

The Dog Wizard is a nationwide mobile dog training and facility-based franchise that offers an alternative to traditional obedience training, which has built a national reputation as a premier
training service that dramatically improves pet and pet owner relationships. Focused on the individual needs of both the dog and the dog owner, the company prides itself on an openminded
approach based on the unique learning style of each dog. Pet owners are immersed in the training experience in a “train the trainer” format, as a way to strengthen the bond with their dog for
long-term success.

Many franchise locations, including The Dog Wizard Cincinnati, were fortunate to continue operating through the pandemic. The decision to add training to their portfolio of services at Pet
Nation Lodge in January 2020 turned out to be the pre-pandemic business decision that ultimately navigated them through the crisis. With an 80 percent loss in revenue in pet boarding
during the worst two months of the pandemic, the addition of The Dog Wizard Cincinnati more than made up for the lost income. The training service is now expected to generate nearly $1
million in its first year, and will likely surpass $1 million in its second year. That’s more than Pet Nation Lodge typically generated from all its services combined prior to adding The Dog Wizard to its business.

“The success of locations like Cincinnati is a testament to the effectiveness of The Dog Wizard program,” said Hollifield. “While the Fayetteville location did need to suspend training services
temporarily, we’re proud that countless franchise operations were able to continue their services for the sake of pet owners in need of assistance during already trying times.”
