Advanced Trainer
Ziggy Zamadics is a passionate dog trainer with a rich background in canine care.
With his experience at Dogtopia, a leading dog daycare, Ziggy honed his skills in dog behavior and socialization, fostering positive relationships between dogs and creating healthy social environments.
Previously, he worked at Sunbury Vet Clinic as both a Veterinary Technician and a Surgical Technician, where he developed a deep understanding of canine health and wellness. This unique blend of training and veterinary knowledge allows Ziggy to address behavioral issues with a holistic approach, ensuring each dog receives the best care possible.
Dedicated to enhancing the bond between dogs and their humans, Ziggy employs innovative training techniques tailored to individual needs. His goal is to empower dog owners with the tools and confidence to nurture happy, well-adjusted pets.
Terry Kenney
Owner & Advanced Trainer
Terry Kenney is the co-owner, alongside his wife Liberty, and advanced trainer at The Dog Wizard. With over two decades of experience directing and managing large retail operations at Target Corporation, Terry brings a wealth of leadership and operational expertise to his new venture. Fueled by a lifelong passion for dogs, he is dedicated to helping owners achieve their training goals through innovative methods at The Dog Wizard. As a proud father of two children and two German Shorthair Pointers, Terry understands the unique joys and challenges of training and raising dogs alongside children.
As a business owner, Terry focuses on fostering a positive and collaborative environment for both clients and staff. He believes in continuous learning and improvement, encouraging his team to stay updated on the latest training techniques and trends in canine behavior. By combining his extensive management experience with his genuine love for dogs, Terry aims to create a welcoming space where every dog and client can thrive. The first thing that impressed me about these folks was that, free of charge, they sent our future trainer (Ziggy, the fantastic) out to meet Jasper and I in person, and have a real, honest discussion about how best to proceed. We both liked him, immediately. Ziggy was so informative and forthcoming about the puppy obedience course. I have to applaud him for that- I have always known exactly what to expect. And the reason he was so honest is because he’s not a salesman, he’s a serious trainer. He genuinely wants people to succeed with their dogs, he genuinely cares about that- and it has shown, clearly, from that first consultation meeting through to our last, puppy obedience session.

My puppy had several, alarming, bad habits (and I do mean several) and while he is a scruffy bundle of sweetness and sunshine, he is not a people pleaser- he is no golden retriever. And yet, I’m not “scared” of anything anymore. Ziggy provided me with the tools, we have the map, we just need to stay consistent and stay on course. There is no behavioral issue with Jasper that has not improved since we started with Ziggy- there is no behavioral issue with Jasper that we don’t have the tools to work through. My puppy, who was a barking, jumping lunatic only weeks ago, just sat, calmly, in his pen for 4 hours at a work event yesterday (photo included, and yes he had ice packs, ice water, shade and personal fans throughout 😉).
