After completing your desired training program, you can attend weekly group classes that reinforce skills, foster socialization, and nurture strong bonds.
Group Dog Training Classes
The Dog Wizard in Lake Norman hosts group classes that cover everything your pet needs to build confidence and manners in a group setting. Our program covers the depth and breadth of training, from essential obedience commands to house training. Your much-loved canine friend will learn all the important skills and behaviors to thrive at home and outdoors in the community. Socializing with other pets will help them build confidence and good manners. Our programs include puppy classes for dogs younger than five months and our foundation courses are perfect for small groups (consisting of five to seven dogs).

American Kennel Club (AKC) Training
Our Lake Norman puppy program is proud to be an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program, meaning your dog can qualify to earn the AKC S.T.A.R. certificate after program completion. Along with certification, your puppy will be registered in the AKC records and receive a special display medal.
Dog Day Training
Busy days often leave little time for dog training, but The Dog Wizard’s Day Training program in Lake Norman makes it easier. Much like the name suggests, your dog spends the day with our trainers, who work on improving their behaviors and skills. But that’s not all because you will also receive private lessons to reinforce progress at home or in the park. Our options include a 6- or 15-day program, as we aim to suit your lifestyle and goals.
