Corrie Williams
Manager/Trainer
Corrie is a born and raised Sarasota native. As a graduate of Santa Fe College’s Zoo Animal Technology program, Corrie has experience working with a wide variety of animals, from reptiles and birds to large mammals.
She was a nationally recognized junior handler with her Australian Cattle Dog and has over 20 years of experience training dogs in obedience, showmanship, agility, and flyball.
Corrie has been with The Dog Wizard since 2021 as a Lead Trainer, transferred and opened the Fort Myers location, and is now the Training Manager at the Sarasota location. She is also certified through The Dog Wizard as a Top Dog Trainer and certified with the AKC as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
Kat Rivera
Trainer
Kat is a professional dog trainer with 5+ years of experience working with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. She brings a modern, balanced approach to training that emphasizes communication, structure, and trust between dogs and their owners.
With a strong background in obedience training and behavior modification, Kat has helped countless families achieve a harmonious relationship with their pets. She trains alongside her demo dog, Homelander, a 2-year-old Doberman, who assists in client sessions and showcases effective training techniques.
Her mission is simple: to provide owners with the knowledge and skills they need to create well-mannered, confident dogs while strengthening the bond they share.
Patrick Gill
Trainer
My name is Patrick, and I have lived in Florida my whole life. I have had dogs all my life growing up. My goal has always been to work with and help train dogs.
I have volunteered for dog rescues since a young age, fostering and adopting my own dogs from rescues. I have years of dog training experience and am a certified Advanced Trainer with The Dog Wizard, as well as a certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator with the AKC.
Briauna Blevins
Trainer
Briauna was born and raised in East Tennessee, but has resided in SWFL for the last 4 years.
With a decade of dog training experience, specializing in behavioral modification, she comes equipped with both the knowledge base and passion to help you and your pup exceed your training goals.
Briauna is certified and nationally recognized as a trainer, with an additional 2 years of veterinary technician experience to create a well-rounded viewpoint on the best course of action for success.
As a proud balanced trainer, Briauna utilizes all four quadrants of training to provide guidance, structure, and most of all peace to every pup she has the pleasure to work with.

Mike Walsh
Trainer
Mike Walsh is a passionate dog trainer with The Dog Wizard, having joined the team in 2024. Born and raised in Connecticut, Mike grew up in a multi-dog household, which fostered a deep love and understanding of canine behavior from an early age.
Mike is dedicated to helping dog owners create lasting bonds with their furry companions. With a focus on basic obedience and clear communication, he tailors training to meet the individual needs of each dog and owner. Whether working through behavioral issues or helping dogs and owners develop a deeper connection, Mike is committed to fostering trust and harmony between families and their pets.

Patrick worked with my boy to build his confidence in new situations which in turn helped his separation anxiety. Obviously, the training continues with me for the rest of his life, but he came home a new boy that was ready to work and continue to grow! They got me in for an evaluation quickly. Bri was incredible with Cracker from the start. She explained his behavior in detail and walked me through exactly what the program would involve. I left with zero unanswered questions and signed him up for the Freedom Jumpstart camp on the spot.
That is when I was connected with Patrick, Cracker’s trainer. I actually watched Patrick working with another dog while I waited for my evaluation, long before I knew he would be the one training Cracker, and I was impressed before I even had a name to put with it. Patrick is exceptional, not just with the dogs but with me as Cracker’s owner. Throughout the two weeks Cracker was in house, Patrick sent updates and photos so I could follow his progress. The very first photo showed how anxious Cracker was. Each set after that showed a dog who was calmer, more relaxed, and more himself. It was emotional watching that transformation happen in real time.
When Cracker came home, Patrick worked with me directly on commands, corrections, and how to stay consistent, which has made all the difference. I am not juggling a chaotic schedule anymore, rotating dogs and keeping doors shut to manage him. Cracker gets to be part of the family again. His siblings enjoy him, and I get to enjoy him instead of constantly correcting or isolating him.
This experience has been life changing for Cracker and for our whole household. The Dog Wizard gave me my dog back, and gave Cracker the chance at the good, fulfilled life he deserves. I recommend them without hesitation.
That said, we did learn a lot from the in-home training, and I would recommend the board-and-train option for families looking for stronger or more consistent results. Since then, we have switched to using a harness and are seeing much better progress with our puppy.
I also want to note that the staff was wonderful with Rosy when dropping her off for daycare—she really seemed to enjoy it. Thank you for everything you did for her.
Vinnie is now doing incredibly well with all of his training, both inside and outside the house, and we’re happy to be able to walk him in places where he would have previously been reactive. We’re so grateful for all the time, effort, and care Briauna and the staff invested in Vinnie. They took such great care of him, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!
