Cheryl Kolatorowicz
Trainer
Cheryl is a natural born helper. She graduated from The Ohio State University and has been working as a nurse for the past decade but always had a passion for animals, most especially dogs. She has recently blended her love of helping and teaching with her love of dogs by joining The Dog Wizard as a trainer. Cheryl has first hand knowledge of how heart-wrenching it can be when your furbabies don't get along andor create chaos in your household and in your relationships. She has seen from the client side of things how magical it is when training pays off and the work you put in starts to show. She loves how rewarding it is to grow your bond and your confidence through obedience! She and her husband, Adam, are the loving parents of a Blue Heeler named Kaz and a recently adopted senior MinPin they aptly named Krusty, since he is a whopping 25 years old (according to Young Williams)! When she isn't working, Cheryl and Adam love to go on adventures, try new craft beers, and find the best places to eat wherever they go!

Jen Belle
Head Trainer
Jennifer Belle's love for dogs started early in her childhood. She started getting into dog training after she had been working with dogs for sports and realized her passion for dog training. She has been involved with training for several different things other than just obedience such as therapy dog training, some service dog training, sports, emotional support, and nose work. She currently competes with her dogs in dock diving, which they have been to the World Championships every year since 2015, disc, and FASTCAT.

Jamie Dukovac
Trainer
Jamie Dukovac has had a passion for dogs since the age of 8, when her babysitter would take her to training lessons with Rottweilers. Since then, Jamie has had a myriad of experiences with dogs, culminating with off-leash training with her Belgian Malinois, Zoltar. Since then, she has fostered and trained a variety of breeds through the Maryville Alcoa Animal Rescue Center prior to joining the Dog Wizard. When she isn't working, she enjoys competing with Zoltar in dock diving and frisbee league championships and relaxing with her Australian Kelpie, Tillie.

Trent Steele
Owner and Trainer
Trent Steele is the OwnerHead Trainer of The Dog Wizard Savannah. He has been training professionally for 7 years. The way he got into training was through his own dog Alex. See, Alex was this rescue Weimaraner that Trent came across in 2009. He adopted him and it was a match. Alex started dock diving in local ponds in Knoxville, TN. They both went to a DockDogs event in North Carolina. They became hooked. They have been across the country competing as well as started a club, Smoky Mountain DockDogs, in Knoxville. They met a lot of people, including the ones who started The Dog Wizard. He joined them, and the rest is history. Trent currently owns Knoxville, Savannah, Tri-Cities, Huntsville, Maryville, and East Memphis He has one dog now named Camille (pictured). She travels everywhere he goes. Camille is the demo dog. She loves dock diving (personal best 25?4?), frisbee, and long walks on the beach.

Beth Hook
Trainer
Beth is an amazing experienced trainer. She has worked as a trainer for 4 years. She works group classes, private lessons, day trains, and board and trains. She has a compassion for dogs and seeing their owners thrive with new knowledge. She is an avid Jeep owner with her husband. She also has two dogs named Dilly and Dally.

I'm especially grateful for the daycare. The staff worked with Millie and got to know her rather than kicking her out because she can be a little extra at times. She loves daycare and from what I can tell the folks at daycare love her too.
I will always recommend The Dog Wizard for dog (and people) training. The methods are legit. And I have a more balanced dog because of it.

About The Dog Wizard Knoxville
Our dog training goes beyond basic commands like Sit, Come, and Down. Our approach focuses on helping your dog make better choices and respond to you instead of their impulses.
We cover all the essential obedience commands you need to communicate effectively with your dog. But more importantly, we teach your dog to stay engaged and follow through with these commands, even in the most distracting environments.
Our goal is to enhance your dog’s understanding of obedience, making it a natural part of their behavior, not just a few tricks they perform when they feel like it.
