Marissa Abram
CEO and Trainer
Marissa has 10-plus years of teaching experience. She has been working with dogs for over 5 years. She is a Dog Wizard graduate herself! In her free time, she competes with her personal dogs in AKC Obedience, Trick Dog, DockDogs, and K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch. She is an AKC CGC-approved evaluator. Marissa is constantly continuing to learn and improve so she can better help our clients and their relationships with their furry family members!

Michelle Clarke
Top Dog Head Trainer
Michelle comes from upstate New York where she was active in the equestrian competition world. From farm animals to rescue dogs, she has always been an advocate for animals” well-being. Michelle has been a part of the greater Las Vegas community for 30 years; most of this time spent in regulatory compliance, which requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. She utilizes these skills to educate people and their dogs to have rewarding relationships. Michelle is a Dog Wizard graduate herself! Her home pack includes 4 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, a water turtle (she?ll help them all!), oh and yes, a wife and teen daughter. Michelle is active, embraces challenges, and looks forward to continuing to impact people and champion animal safety through community outreach.

Rodaba Jackson
Dog Trainer
Rodaba Jackson has had dogs in her life for as long as she can remember. Her passion for animals began when she was just a little girl, growing up in various countries where she often found herself rescuing, helping, and caring for dogs in need. That deep connection with dogs eventually grew into a lifelong mission to support both dogs and their people.
Rodaba currently shares her life with six amazing rescue dogs who keep her active and inspired. She leads a very energetic lifestyle filled with hiking, running, road trips, and dog sports—all alongside her pups. She strongly believes that having a well-trained, balanced dog opens the door to more freedom, smoother daily routines, and a much more enjoyable life together.
Rodaba has taken her passion to the next level by becoming a professional dog trainer. She’s dedicated to helping other dog owners build rewarding, trusting relationships with their dogs through thoughtful training and positive guidance. Her goal is to help others experience the same kind of freedom and connection that comes with living life alongside a confident, well-behaved companion.

You’ll get constant communication and updates on your dog’s training, so you know they’re in good hands. I personally saw a huge improvement in my dog’s behavior and received a ton of info on how to properly keep up on home training. I’m using the dog wizard for boarding as well while I’m out of town.
Then I met Marissa and Maliki from The Dog Wizard. They came over for an in-home consultation and spent a full hour and a half with me and Zeus. From the start, I could tell they genuinely cared. They explained how important the three-week board and train would be to help Zeus work through his issues. I was so hesitant, wondering how I could possibly send away my five-year-old baby that I’ve had since he was just four weeks old. But they made me feel completely comfortable, and deep down I knew this would change his life.
And it absolutely did. Zeus came home yesterday and the difference is incredible. We went on our first walk this morning, and for the first time ever, he was totally focused. No pulling, no reacting to other dogs, just calm and connected with me. Even his eating habits have changed. He’s now eating his kibble right out of my hand, when before he would turn his nose up at it completely. That alone feels like a miracle.
I’m so glad I found The Dog Wizard and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for training. I know how hard it is to send your baby away. It was the longest three weeks ever, but the life you get to share with your dog afterward makes it all worth it. Zeus is more confident, more connected, and so much more in tune with me.
