We private lesson trained our Mini Bull Terrier puppy with both Tracie and Maliki and it was phenomenal. They are both such incredible trainers. They took our wild young pup and turned him into a well mannered young man. I HIGHLY recommend those two trainers if you have a stubborn stinker like us.

My wife and I took our rescue with high anxiety and reactivity to Dog Wizzard for help in getting him trained up. Michelle was amazing as a trainer and helped us get him dialed in! It was a really great experience overall, as the program we chose effectively trained us alongside our dog equipping us to carry on the training after the program’s conclusion and with all other dogs our family will have in the future. Michelle absolutely loves her clients and treated Bruce as her own and her passion for her work flows into the experience she provides. We look forward to attending the tune-up classes and the post-program support events with her. 10/10!!!
Great service, would 100% recommend!

You’ll get constant communication and updates on your dog’s training, so you know they’re in good hands. I personally saw a huge improvement in my dog’s behavior and received a ton of info on how to properly keep up on home training. I’m using the dog wizard for boarding as well while I’m out of town.

My almost 3 year old Havanese, Miso Soup, had gotten really out of control barky and pulled at our walks. My husband and I were getting really frustrated. We felt like we couldn’t take him anywhere with us cause it was stressful for everybody. We also thought it was too late to get him trained as he was spoiled and set in his ways (we definitely took responsibility for that). I stumbled upon the Dog Wizard on Google and had Marissa over to get a free consultation. She recommended the 21 day boarding plan. We initially thought it would be too long/too traumatic for him and we are very particular with who takes cares of our baby. But as soon as we met Rodaba, the trainer assigned to us, we felt at ease. She did such a great job from sending us almost daily pictures to correcting his bad behaviors. We really could not believe it when we got our dog back- he was the same sweet dog but much better behaved. We actually enjoy our walks now and can’t wait to take him traveling like we dreamed. Rodaba is a miracle worker and the Dog Wizard was well worth the investment!

I cannot say enough good things about The Dog Wizard. Before finding them, I reached out to a couple other trainers. One even took $400 from me and then never called me back. I was feeling discouraged and worried I’d never find the right help for my 100-pound American Bully, Zeus, who struggles with resource guarding and reactivity to strangers and other dogs.

Then I met Marissa and Maliki from The Dog Wizard. They came over for an in-home consultation and spent a full hour and a half with me and Zeus. From the start, I could tell they genuinely cared. They explained how important the three-week board and train would be to help Zeus work through his issues. I was so hesitant, wondering how I could possibly send away my five-year-old baby that I’ve had since he was just four weeks old. But they made me feel completely comfortable, and deep down I knew this would change his life.

And it absolutely did. Zeus came home yesterday and the difference is incredible. We went on our first walk this morning, and for the first time ever, he was totally focused. No pulling, no reacting to other dogs, just calm and connected with me. Even his eating habits have changed. He’s now eating his kibble right out of my hand, when before he would turn his nose up at it completely. That alone feels like a miracle.

I’m so glad I found The Dog Wizard and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for training. I know how hard it is to send your baby away. It was the longest three weeks ever, but the life you get to share with your dog afterward makes it all worth it. Zeus is more confident, more connected, and so much more in tune with me.

About The Dog Wizard Las Vegas

Our dog training goes beyond basic commands like Sit, Come, and Down. Our approach focuses on helping your dog make better choices and respond to you instead of their impulses.

We cover all the essential obedience commands you need to communicate effectively with your dog. But more importantly, we teach your dog to stay engaged and follow through with these commands, even in the most distracting environments.

Our goal is to enhance your dog’s understanding of obedience, making it a natural part of their behavior, not just a few tricks they perform when they feel like it.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Dog Wizard Las Vegas offers a free evaluation. Most locations will even come to you to do one! This enables our trainers to meet you and your dog, go over your training goals and find a program that works for you. Give us a call and we will help you set one up.
The Dog Wizard trainers are well versed in a variety of training tools; from food to collars to remote collars. We know that not all dogs do well with every tool and we will help you decide what tool is best for your dog as well as what tools you’re comfortable with using. At the end of the day, whatever tool you’re comfortable in using will be the one you’re most consistent in using and that’s what’s most important to us.
It is never too late to start teaching your dog new habits. It will take more time and effort than teaching a new puppy but you will love the outcome.

In order to know how long it will take to train your dog, we will need to do a free consultation. During your consultation, we will get to understand what you are looking to gain from the training as well as evaluate your dog to see what we will need to do to get him where you would like him to be. At that point, we will be able to give you a timeline for his training.

We do not have a one size fits all approach to training. Each dog owner team that has a free evaluation will have a customized program designed to fit your specific needs. Because of this, individualized system pricing varies. Give us a call and we will help you set one up
