Tim Siedlaczek

Owner, The Dog Wizard Farmington Hills

With more than 30 years in the pet industry, Tim Siedlaczek brings strong leadership experience and a lifelong passion for dogs to The Dog Wizard Farmington Hills. His career includes work with start-ups and major pet companies such as Heinz North America Pet Division, Spectrum Brands Pet Division, PetGuard Holdings, and Kradle, LLC.

Tim’s connection to dogs began early, growing up in a household that cared for rescue dogs and gave him firsthand experience with behavioral needs. Later, his own family dog struggled with anxiousness, deepening his understanding of the challenges many pet parents face and inspiring his commitment to supporting families through education and training.

Motivated by these experiences and the countless stories of dogs surrendered due to behavior issues, Tim invested in The Dog Wizard franchise system and founded Triumph Paws, Inc. dba The Dog Wizard Farmington Hills, proudly serving the greater Farmington Hills and Bloomfield Hills areas.

As the owner, Tim’s role is to support and empower his talented team of trainers so they can focus on helping dogs and families build communication, confidence, trust, and lasting bonds through compassionate, results-driven training.

Stewart Marmion

Advance Trainer

Stewart’s journey into the world of dog training began in his childhood, alongside his two border collies, Flo and Sabrina. Working at the golf course managed by his father, these dogs had a crucial job—chasing geese off the greens. Flo came with an impressive background of training, but Sabrina needed Stewart and his dad’s dedication to get up to speed. This early exposure to training sparked a lifelong passion for Stewart. Stewart’s love for animals extended beyond his own pets. He immersed himself in learning about various animals through channels like Discovery and Animal Planet and loved watching documentaries about any animal, from penguins to pandas to other exotic wildlife.

He pursued a degree in Psychology from the University of Toledo, graduating in 2021. Fascinated by human communication and problem-solving, Stewart aimed to help people navigate life’s challenges. However, after returning to Michigan, he struggled to find a clear career path. His passion for animals led him to dog-sit for family and friends, and it was during this time that he stumbled upon a job posting for a dog trainer. Seizing the opportunity, Stewart combined his psychological insights with his love for dogs, launching his career as a dog trainer. He quickly found fulfillment in this unique blend of human and animal interaction.

In his early months as a trainer, Stewart was asked to dog-sit a Golden Retriever named Koozie for three months due to an abusive living situation. Initially anxious and skittish, Koozie benefited greatly from Stewart’s care and training. By the end of the three months, Stewart had grown attached to Koozie, and when the original owner decided not to take him back, Koozie became a permanent member of Stewart’s family. Now, Koozie is a joyful and sociable pup, although he still is not a fan of vacuums.

After a few years of successful dog training in the Metro Detroit area, Stewart joined The Dog Wizard. He has since embraced new techniques and expanded his knowledge, finding even greater satisfaction in his role and continuing to grow as a dog trainer.

We adopted an adult Bernedoodle from someone who could no longer care for her. Lola is the sweetest dog but is so high energy it was overwhelming. She couldn't walk on a leash without pulling us over and down the street. She jumped all over everyone and would knock our children down...we avoided inviting guests over. She hated her crate but couldn't be left alone without causing destruction. We worked with two other trainers and were thinking we might have to give up and find her a home better suited to handle her energy...then we met The Dog Wizard at Farmington Founders Fest! We bought a package and Stewart came for in home training and changed our life! He helped us understand her better and how to help her channel her energy. She no longer jumps on guests when they come over and we are able to not only safely walk her around the neighborhood, but take her to public events/areas without worrying she will cause chaos. The Dog Wizard uses positive re-enforcement but doesn't "treat train" which was a previous approach we had tried (and that had resulted in her only listening when we had treats for her...) Now, we are continuing with the Dog Wizard and love the regular meetups and are even training her off leash. We highly recommend The Dog Wizard!

We adopted an 80 pound pit bull that had been picked up by Detroit Animal Care and Control as a stray. Hank had a broken leg and bites all over him, but he was still a very good-natured dog. Because of his size and his breed, we wanted to make sure we had the tools to control his behavior. We opted for the two week at home training with Stewart. Well, Hank came back understanding commands and we understood him much better. When Stewart came to our home for a check-in visit, Hank jumped into his lap, so excited to see him. 100% recommend Stewart!

Absolutely loved the training my dog and I received from the dog Wizard! Each week we worked through what needed work and built on lessons from the previous. Since starting training, I’ve noticed my dog becoming more calm and obedient to training commands, at points be more willing to troubleshoot when he couldn’t figure out how to do things. Stewart is an amazing trainer, patient and great to work with. I cannot recommend The Dog Wizard enough!

Stewart was great! He built a lot of trust with us and Rosie. Lots of personalized tips and training overall. He was very observant with the human side of things and was able to help us where we could do better. Some training methods had us anxious and Stewart was able to reduce our anxiety with education, and easy ways to start implementing into our training. The training was well balanced, encouraging Rosie to be more confident and is also. Was just the thing we needed. Thanks Stewart! and Koozie too!

We have been so happy with Stewart and his approach to training Charlotte! He has taken the time to get to know our pup and provide us with much needed instruction on how to work with her. Each skill Stewart presented has built on the previous one and we have witnessed Charlotte’s skills and confidence blossom in just a few short weeks.

We worked with Stewart. He was SO professional and caring with our young Cane Corso. He had great training skills and advice. Our young lady really thrived with his train methods. We would highly recommend him to anyone who has a doggo who needs some training, even a young Cane Corso.

Stewart is an amazing dog trainer who works magic with dogs. I was having quite a bit of issues with two of my dogs constantly fighting each other, and Stewart was able to come in put in some guidelines to take the dogs for some work and after a lot of hard work and effort between him and I The dogs have not fought in a few months!
He worked tirelessly just to make sure my pack would be able to return to normal! If you’re ever looking for a good dog trainer, I highly recommend giving a call and having Stewart do your work!

Frequently Asked Questions

The Dog Wizard Farmington Hills offers a free evaluation. This enables our trainers to talk with you, in depth, learn about your dog, go over your training goals, and find a program that works for you. Give us a call and we will help you set one up.
The Dog Wizard trainers are well versed in a variety of training tools; from food to collars to remote collars. We know that not all dogs do well with every tool and we will help you decide what tool is best for your dog as well as what tools you’re comfortable with using. At the end of the day, whatever tool you’re comfortable in using will be the one you’re most consistent in using and that’s what’s most important to us.
It is never too late to start teaching your dog new habits. It will take more time and effort than teaching a new puppy but you will love the outcome.

In order to know how long it will take to train your dog, we will need to do a free consultation. During your consultation, we will get to understand what you are looking to gain from the training as well as evaluate your dog to see what we will need to do to get him where you would like him to be. At that point, we will be able to give you a timeline for his training.

We do not have a one size fits all approach to training. Each dog owner team that has a free evaluation will have a customized program designed to fit your specific needs. While the cost of training is a wide range depending on a myriad of factors and personalization to your and your dog’s needs, training programs start at $250.
