Renee Warner
Owner
Renee is a Louisville, Kentucky native who grew up always having a passion for dogs. After graduating from the University of Louisville, she enjoyed careers in yoga teaching and massage therapy, but above all else, loved spending time with her pup. Her dog, Brego, is truly who led the way to her Dog Wizard future after going through a Jumpstart program for his leash reactivity. Brego’s dramatic results not only changed her life but instilled a passion in her to help other families like hers improve their quality of life with their best friend. Outside of loving dogs, you’ll usually find Renee doing something outdoors, often accompanied by a craft beer!
Here’s a little bit about her boys:
Brego – an 8-year-old German Shepherd who inspired Renee’s Dog Wizard path. He’s as handsome as they come (and he definitely knows it) and is most certainly a momma’s boy. He’s never far from her side and is still learning how to work through some of his anxiety. Brego is by far the king of the house and enjoys anything involving a tennis ball.
Winston – a 3-year-old Golden Retriever who is the definition of a happy-go-lucky guy. Win loves anyone, everyone, everything, and would be perfectly happy to lick you to death. He follows Brego everywhere he goes and is the epitome of a middle child.
Arlo – last but not least, a 7-month-old Dalmatian with the most amazing personality. He’s fearless, incredibly motivated by just about anything, loves to jump, and is just plain hilarious. He keeps them all on their toes and is the perfect addition to their family.

Janay Elliott
Office Manager
Janay is from Crawfordsville, Indiana, where she grew up on a farm and spent several years working in animal-focused jobs, including a horse ranch and a vet clinic.
When it came to her career, she knew that something centered around dogs was where she would be happiest, but she hadn’t considered the dog training field until she and her husband brought in a pitbull mix as their third dog. They reached out to The Dog Wizard for help with Quentin’s reactivity, and through this, Janay began her time working as a dog trainer.
When it came time to move back to Indiana, Janay transitioned from her role as a trainer to office manager.
Years of Experience: 3
Certifications & Qualifications: Dog Wizard Academy
Hobbies: Visiting breweries and coffee shops with dogs, hiking, paddleboarding
Notes: Found her Pitbull mix on a mountain; transitioned from trainer to office manager to continue supporting dogs and owners;

Destiny Spence
Trainer
Destiny grew up in Cross Lanes, West Virginia, and has always had a passion for animals. As soon as she started working with dogs, she knew she had to do it forever.
Destiny began her experience in open play at a doggie daycare, where her love for dogs continued to grow. Training has always been her dream job, and once she moved to Louisville, Kentucky, her dream job became her career.
Years of Experience: 5
Certifications & Qualifications: Dog Wizard Academy
Hobbies: Baking (cookies)
Notes: Loves bully breeds for motivation and creativity in training; excels at client education and training humans alongside dogs;

Andrea Galloway
Manager & Trainer
Andrea started her professional career with Tin Woof Inn in January of 2017 while attending Marshall University. Her passion to help build the human and animal connection drew her to becoming a dog trainer full-time.
Andrea actively competes with her three Border Collies and has titles in a wide variety of sports, including dock diving, frisbee, bikejoring, scent work, barn hunt, rally obedience, and much more. Andrea continues her learning through attending as many seminars and webinars as possible.
Some of Andrea’s recent accomplishments have been competing at the 2021 Rally National Competition, placing Top 10 in the Intermediate class, becoming an UpDog head judge, and starting the 2023 Sheltowee Trace Hiker Challenge. During her free time, Andrea enjoys her time with her husband, Bobby, and keeping up with her adventurous 2.5-year-old, Amelia.

About The Dog Wizard Louisville
Our dog training goes beyond basic commands like Sit, Come, and Down. Our approach focuses on helping your dog make better choices and respond to you instead of their impulses.
We cover all the essential obedience commands you need to communicate effectively with your dog. But more importantly, we teach your dog to stay engaged and follow through with these commands, even in the most distracting environments.
Our goal is to enhance your dog’s understanding of obedience, making it a natural part of their behavior, not just a few tricks they perform when they feel like it.
