A VenezuelanAmerican Dog Trainer with the unique mix of obedience and behavior expertise, founded MIAMI PET ASSISTANCE COALITION to rescue stray dogs and promote responsible pet ownership. In 2013, she merged her passion for communication and dogs and creating the Dog Podcast FRECUENCIA CANINA at @VPItv and her Dog segments on TV @ElNewsCafe on Univision and @LaVozDeLaManana on @VIX networks respectively.

Glenda is the best dog trainer and Ive had some trainers before. The minute she and Lily met they had a great connection. Glenda was patient and really took the time to explain step by step on how to walk with Lily without her pulling me. She's a very strong dog and now I can walk her without stess. Also, Lily barks at othet dogs and now she is calmer around them. It was such a pleasure working with her and I highly recommend her. She has great techniques and I follow everthing she taught me. Now Lily is a different girl. Thank you Glenda

We had a great experience with Glenda from The Dog Wizard! 🐾 She helped my dog so much during obedience training. Glenda was very flexible with our schedules and accommodated our needs and even took classes to real places like parks and restaurants, which made my dog’s improvement immediately. The program has its cost, but it was a good investment for our dog’s behavior and my peace of mind. They also were very flexible with ways of payments. I now feel much more comfortable taking my dog out in public. The manual and goodies we got at the end were also very helpful. My dog also received a certificate and made it official Overall, we’re very happy with the results and highly recommend Glenda! 🐕 💛

The Dog Wizard Coral Gables offers a free evaluation. This enables our trainers to talk with you, in depth, learn about your dog, go over your training goals, and find a program that works for you. Give us a call and we will help you set one up.
The Dog Wizard trainers are well versed in a variety of training tools; from food to collars to remote collars. We know that not all dogs do well with every tool and we will help you decide what tool is best for your dog as well as what tools you’re comfortable with using. At the end of the day, whatever tool you’re comfortable in using will be the one you’re most consistent in using and that’s what’s most important to us.
It is never too late to start teaching your dog new habits. It will take more time and effort than teaching a new puppy but you will love the outcome.

In order to know how long it will take to train your dog, we will need to do a free consultation. During your consultation, we will get to understand what you are looking to gain from the training as well as evaluate your dog to see what we will need to do to get him where you would like him to be. At that point, we will be able to give you a timeline for his training.

We do not have a one size fits all approach to training. Each dog owner team that has a free evaluation will have a customized program designed to fit your specific needs. While the cost of training is a wide range depending on a myriad of factors and personalization to your and your dog’s needs, training programs start at $250.
