Really supportive, in-tune and very approachable training for both us, and our reactive rescue pittie. Her improvement lesson to lesson was fantastic, and the tools and techniques we were given lead to our continued improvement.

After much thought and hesitation with picking a dog training company or place I finally decided on the Dog Wizard and I’m so happy that I did from the day. The trainers came to my apartment to evaluate my dog up until the day. I got my dog back the process was extremely professional and efficient. Noah did an outstanding job with my dog and I would recommend him to everyone out there looking for positive results in dog training.

Noah was extremely calm with our high energy, high anxiety senior pitty. By the third lesson, she was already calmer. He not only was teaching our dog skills, he was also teaching us the skills to handle her. The process of dog wizard was really great, making sure us and our dog were comfortable with everything.

We started training with Ozzie through Dog Wizard a few months after we got him & we really needed the help! A Great Dane puppy is joke!! Our trainer, Susan, was really knowledgeable & helpful and since we finished our program we have been attending the meet ups and they have been really helpful in keeping us encouraged to keep training. Highly recommend!!

We used The Dog Wizard Princeton for both our dogs. One required basic training, the other needed a little more attention because he is reactive (putting the leash, barking at other dogs, lunging at passing cars during walks, nipping when being groomed). The trainer was excellent with both dogs. They are a wealth of knowledge and the leash they provided us has helpfuled significant. The exercises we were given to work on significantly improved their behavior and now our walks are more enjoyable. People who have come to complete services in the house and the techs at the vet have shared that both dogs are well behaved and responsive to commands. The Dog Wizard trainers have been easy to schedule and communicate with and have been very supportive. The ongoing support classes are helpful for us to maintain the behaviors. We are very happy with out experience and would highly recommend their program.

Dog Wizard of Princeton was amazing for my dog Pixel. After initial introduction to the Dog Wizard training methods by Gyanesh and Amanda, we enrolled Pixel in the Jumpstart 14 program. Pixel stayed with the trainer, Noah, for 2 weeks during this intensive training period. I was quite impressed by the progress that Noah made in training Pixel to walk and learn self-control through the "Place" command. Noah was very patient teaching us home training. We attended a group support session and had an at-home follow up training session with Noah. These sessions reinforced the lessons we and Pixel had learned.
Overall I highly recommend Dog Wizard of Princeton.

My dog is 2 years old and while she’s smart and sweet, she’s also a big handful with lots of energy and lack of manners when it matters (ie, guests coming over, etc.). I contacted The Dog Wizard and had them over for a free evaluation, and decided to do their 14 day Jumpstart program, a 2 week board and train. It was tough having my girl with someone else for 2 whole weeks, but I got regular updates and photos. She came home yesterday and is an absolutely different dog. Same sweet girl, but now she doesn’t pull on walks, she doesn’t jump on people, she can be made to sit on a dog bed and stays there until she’s told she can get up and greet people. She’s learned a lot in 2 weeks and I’m extremely impressed with both the professionalism and results. The program was not inexpensive ($3200), but well worth the money. Now it’s up to me to keep working on her new skills and we’ve already had a good first day home in that regard. I no longer feel worried about having my older parents older or having her around my partner’s parents either. I highly recommend this company. Noah was a godsend to me and my girl, thank you!

The Dog Wizard Princeton offers a free evaluation. This enables our trainers to talk with you, in depth, learn about your dog, go over your training goals, and find a program that works for you. Give us a call and we will help you set one up.
The Dog Wizard trainers are well versed in a variety of training tools; from food to collars to remote collars. We know that not all dogs do well with every tool and we will help you decide what tool is best for your dog as well as what tools you’re comfortable with using. At the end of the day, whatever tool you’re comfortable in using will be the one you’re most consistent in using and that’s what’s most important to us.
It is never too late to start teaching your dog new habits. It will take more time and effort than teaching a new puppy but you will love the outcome.

In order to know how long it will take to train your dog, we will need to do a free consultation. During your consultation, we will get to understand what you are looking to gain from the training as well as evaluate your dog to see what we will need to do to get him where you would like him to be. At that point, we will be able to give you a timeline for his training.

We do not have a one size fits all approach to training. Each dog owner team that has a free evaluation will have a customized program designed to fit your specific needs. While the cost of training is a wide range depending on a myriad of factors and personalization to your and your dog’s needs, training programs start at $250.
